The Role
This position is responsible for data accuracy in HR management and payroll systems, and provides analysis of various human resource program and initiatives. This includes monthly and quarterly reporting for assigned businesses as well as score card preparation for management meetings, business and company review meetings, and by special request. This role also provides support in functional areas of Human Resources, including but not limited to the creation and maintenance of personnel records, new hire onboarding, and serving as a liaison for employee relations, benefits, and payroll administration issues.
Enter, maintain, compile, and audit people management information in a timely manner and with a high level of accuracy and detail in HRIS and payroll systems. Coordinate with the company’s Benefits and Payroll Center, the entry and maintenance of people management information in the payroll and benefits systems. Maintain responsibility for accuracy in HRIS, and do frequent audits of information in the system for integrity.
Collect and analyze data. In consultation with the HR Manager and GM, prepare monthly and quarterly reports and HR Metrics for all assigned business units, including but not limited to headcount, mobility, training, overtime, sick, and turnover reports. Provide other reports as requested by management. Track trends and developments in assigned functional areas, and review, interpret, and recommend HR policies and practices based on this tracking.
Audit all Human Resources transactions as processed through systems to ensure accuracy, timeliness and adherence to correct communication and approval processes. Investigate and resolve problems and discrepancies.
Coordinate annual compensation, performance review, and benefits cycles, including Variable Compensation target setting and attainments, merit increases, performance reviews, and annual service awards. Circulate notice and reminders regarding these cycles. Collect, collate, and audit relevant data. Audit payroll processing files to ensure accuracy and prepare payroll variance (bridge) reports.
Administer compensation studies, including internal and external benchmarking, IPE leveling, and classification review. Perform relevant data analysis and prepare reports.
Assist the HR Coordinator in onboarding new hires for assigned businesses including background and drug screenings; preparing offer letters and related documents; preparing and maintaining employee files; and scheduling new hire trainings.
Respond to employee inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs. Serve as the local liaison between employees and the Atlas Copco Benefits and Payroll Center.
Assist the Atlas Copco Payroll Center in providing documentation as needed for processing the payroll for exempt, non-exempt, and hourly employees.
Maintains and understands the importance of professionalism and confidentiality concerning HR and company matters.
Contribute to positive Company branding by projecting a knowledgeable, professional, and customer-oriented image to internal and external customers.
Perform all duties in accordance with Atlas Copco standards, while always striving to understand the needs and expectations of internal and external customers.
Take whatever action is appropriate and required to get the job done and to establish and maintain communications with all people/employees considered necessary to get the job done.
Maintain building access, and monitor visitor badges. Perform other duties as assigned.

What we expect of you?
Experience
1-2 years relevant human resource administration experience.
Education
4-year University degree in human resources or related field or equivalent work experience and/or education.
Skills
Must be very detail orientated. Must be a self-starter with excellent organizational, interpersonal, and verbal and written communication skills. Must be an efficient, proven multitasker who has a high level of energy and remains calm when stressed. Must be a team player. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint. Occasional travel may be required.
