The Data Analysis, Reporting and Program Support Associate will promote an analytical mindset as well as continuously refine the ways in which insights are delivered. You will be responsible for providing foundational insights through dashboards and scorecards, as well as respond to ad-hoc requests and questions anchored in data analysis. You will help translate business needs into insights, leveraging data manipulation, exploration, analysis, and visualization techniques to build easily understood custom reporting solutions. You will also partner closely with the overall Talent HR team to answer key questions related to people and talent strategy.
Job Function and Responsibilities:
The Data Analysis, Reporting and Program Support Associate will be responsible for managing the overall data analytics, execution and reporting for the Early Career Team, including roster management, metrics creation, report automation, attrition and retention statistics, creating dashboards, analyzing performance and compensation data, etc.
Drive efficiency, productivity, and controls around key areas for global Early Career Program Management team within HR
Create effective, efficient, and reliable data / database queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze large volumes of data
Create, clarify, document, and maintain definitions for data points used throughout reporting
Support performance management, talent development and assessment processes using data analytics and reporting
Partner with global Program team to ensure overall program support and consistency around roster management, tracking hiring and attrition, and diversity / DEI
Coordinate promotion processes, performance development and compensation for Analysts & Associates
Launch success metrics for the program
Support program experience initiatives, including Placement, Surveys, Analyst Committee, Analyst and Management Engagement, etc.)
Manage shared mailbox and Q&A flow
Own team meeting agenda planning and post-meeting summary notes
Independently make recommendations on ways to implement and improve new and existing processes
Serve in a consultative role to enable HR to solve problems and make data driven decisions
Qualifications & Required Skills:
2+ years of data analysis, reporting, project / program management experience
HR background a plus but not required – interest in working in HR is important
Knowledge / experience in Asset & Wealth Management or Private Banking a plus
Acute attention to detail, follow-through, and results orientation
Strong work ethic with a high degree of intellectual curiosity and ownership of work
Advanced Excel skills (highly proficient in functions, macros, pivot tables)
Knowledge of and experience with coding (Python) is a bonus
Skilled in PPT (turning data analysis into data visualization), Word, Project, Microsoft Teams and SharePoint
Able to successfully multi-task across tactical and strategic initiatives
Ability to deal with a wide range of ambiguous situations and conflicting deadlines
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
Proven ability to work in a team environment with the ability to operate independently
Demonstrate exceptional project and process management skills
Excellent verbal and written communications, including presentation and facilitation skills
Able to manage time effectively, prioritize and escalate appropriately.
Applies comprehensive knowledge and a thorough understanding of concepts, principles, and technical capabilities to perform varied tasks and projects
May contribute to the development of policies and procedures
Works on complex projects of large scope

The ability to communicate both technically and non-technically, based on audience
Aptitude for learning new systems and technologies
Ability to understand the end product and build the data infrastructure to deliver that end product (design a database, automate a spreadsheet / report, format large data sets into tangible results)
Knowledge of business intelligence tools (Tableau, SQL) a plus
