Summary
Performs routine administrative tasks in support of the HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) group. Inputs data into a computer processing system and reviews output for accuracy.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for all day-to-day Human Resource administrative functions.
Captures and maintains employee data for efficient retrieval.
Prepares payroll data for processing.
Inputs data into a computer processing system and reviews output for accuracy.
Communicates as needed, H.R. related policies and practices to employee in-person inquiries.
Alters query variables to generate more complex or ad-hoc reports.
Analyzes and maintains HRIS system for assigned projects.
Greet H.R. visitors, answer H.R. phone calls and emails, directing contacts to the appropriate
departments or individuals.
Prepares, prints, and delivers internal training materials as well as benefit related information.
May arrange H.R. function venues, refreshments, and materials prepared in advance for
Human Resource events.
Other H.R. related duties as assigned by H.R. Manager.
Qualifications, Education and/or Experience
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
At least two years’ experience in an administrative role, preferably in Human Resources.
Excellent computer literacy.
Detailed focus and accuracy in information processing.
Excellent administrative skills.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in
situations where only limited standardization exists
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or
schedule form
High School diploma or GED.
Physical Demands
Ability to lift items typical to employee H.R. items and documentation.
Generally,
Ability to work in an office environment, sitting and operating computer for long periods of
time
Ability to physical move to other buildings within assigned facility location to assist training,
Educational, and employee relation activities.
