The main focus of the job is to support the biller with following up on denied/ pending insurance claims, calling insurances to find out about denied claims, resubmitting/ appealing denied claims, and checking patients’ insurance benefits. He/she also needs to help with the receptionist and medical assistant with answering phone calls, scheduling surgeries, and filling out order forms.
Applicant needs to be skilled with computers, be self motivated, and be able to multitask and work in a fast pace environment. Experience with medical billing is a plus but can train.
