As a member of a larger student engagement team, we are searching for someone that
understands the ins and outs of Fraternity and Sorority Life, more specifically as an advisor to our historically Black and/or culturally
based organizations. In this role, you will be responsible for advising 2 of our 4 governing councils as well as developing educational and
social programming for all 26 of our chapters on campus. We want someone who believes in the Fraternity/Sorority experience, realizes that
our Greek community is unique, and nurtures this experience for our students, alumni, and advisors.

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related
field by hire date
Minimum Experience: One (1) year of experience in student programming or related field. Every 15
hours of graduate college coursework beyond a bachelor’s degree can be substituted for one (1) year of experience.

Preferred Experience: One (1) year experience in advising Fraternity and Sorority Life
advising and/or national fraternity or sorority headquarters experience at either full-time or graduate level.

The Office of Student Engagement, Advocacy, & Leadership (SEAL), a department within the Division of Student Affairs, is focused on
the creation of opportunities for personal growth and world-readiness to support an engaged campus culture where students are empowered to
maximize their potential. SEAL is responsible for the oversight of student organizations, fraternity and sorority life, civic engagement,
leadership programs, the Student Activities Council, and the Student Government Association. SEAL coordinates university initiatives such as
Homecoming, Family Weekend, and more.
