The team you’ll be part of
The Customer Experience organization provides a common interface to customers including account and relationship management, acting as the voice of the customer internally and creating demand across our business groups. While bringing deep understanding of local markets for our customer, the CX organization ensures strong alignment between sales and delivery teams.
The Account Manager will be responsible for business development, driving sales and delivery engagements across a team while being a trusted advisor to AT&T Labs, Planning and Operational teams in market locations. The Account Manager will focus on driving achievement across IP/Optical (ION) portfolio, primarily in the Optical networking domain, winning strategic projects as well as maximizing existing business across the ION portfolio. The customer engagement will include market level decision makers.

Translates strategy into actionable programs, operations or activities
Oversees Nokia cross-functional teams to create profitable business
Overall decision-making responsibility for the strategic development and execution of specific account opportunities
* Travel: The position DOES require business travel, usually regional travel to customer locations. It is expected that the position will require up to 50% travel. Candidate should expect that travel at any time, including with little advance notice, as a requirement of this position.
Your skills and experience .
You must have:
At least 10 years’ direct sales experience in wireless telecom, Tier 1 customers preferred
Communication skills to regularly discuss project deadlines, responsibilities and goals with customers on the phone, in-person and over email
Effective negotiating and follow-up skills
It would be nice if you also had:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, telecommunications, business or a related field or equivalent experience
Ability to generate and close new business opportunities
