Salesforce Inc. seeks Software Engineering MTS in Austin, TX:
Job Duties: Gather requirements for projects and for release planning working with Project Managers across the organization. Research and design integration solutions by documenting individual modules and components to explain their function, responsibility, and execution per the project and business requirements. Design and deploy dynamically scalable, highly available, fault-tolerant and secure enterprise-wide Mulesoft integrations on the Cloud platform. Execute and deliver new or extend integration frameworks to implement features that are of medium to high complexity. Implement automated unit and functional test cases to support code and project requirements for use with our Continuous Integration (CI) pipeline. Ability to help out on recruiting and attract best in class software engineers. Collaborate with geographically distributed teams and oversee one or more contingent workers to ensure development standards are being met and project work is progressing to meet project timelines. Use Agile methodologies, such as Scrum, to deliver features to production. Communicate and collaborate with team members clearly and precisely, verbally and written within the Lean Agile IT framework to meet sprint planning objectives. Collaborate with internal business partners such as product management, technical teams, systems operations, and service and support. Prepare needed documentation and present in required design or architecture review meetings. Cultivate a learning environment by mentoring team members that are less experienced or less knowledgeable to increase their skills or knowledge, and ultimately their effectiveness on the team. Understands trends, technical developments in the broader industry and how those can be applied within the organization. Present and communicate complex ideas and features to a broad audience. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required.
Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or closely related quantitative discipline, and two (2) years of experience in job offered or related field, OR Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering (any field) or closely related quantitative discipline and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in job offered or related field.
A related technical degree required (Computer Science, Engineering (any field)).
Special Skill Requirements: 1) MuleSoft; (2) JAVA; (3) Oracle; (4) Amazon Web Services; (5) Microservices; (6) Salesforce; (7) SQL; (8) SOAP/REST APIs; (09) Maven; and (10) Unix/Linux. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Education, experience and criminal background checks will be conducted. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required.
