Regional Director Sales Operations Summary:
The Delinea Regional Director Sales Operations plays an important role within the Sales Operations team, reporting to the Vice President of Global Operations and responsible for managing a team. This role has the This role contributes to many areas within the business including Go To Market strategy, territory planning and forecasting. You will be a significant business partner to regional SVP Sales, Finance, Deal Desk and Systems.
Your work will have a direct impact on strategy and process definition and continuous improvement across the organization and although aligned to you will be responsible for programs which will result in GLOBAL improvements.
One of the main responsibilities in this role is to standardize and improve processes, while analyzing and eliminating root cause of inefficiencies within the current systems using weekly and daily metrics. You will be required to define new processes and provide process improvement ideas. Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence change at a local and global level.
In this role you will be responsible for the a wide and varied set of projects, with full responsibility to execute to successful completion. You will be required to assess and maintain data, carefully and accurately working with sales leaders to support regional business plans. In addition, you will support the successful booking of business working in collaboration with finance, purchasing and accounts payable to help resolve issues. You will support the Sales operations team with general day to day organization and execution of tasks and activities.

What You’ll Do:
Play a significant role in long-term planning, project status reporting, and implementing change control processes.
Work closely with the SVP and VP of Sales Operations, CRO and SVP Sales on special planning and departmental projects to ensure harmonization of global processes.
Support development of business strategies in the region; adapt and enhance the company’s GLOBAL strategy to regional local market conditions.
Territory Management, partnering with the sales leadership at all levels to implement the go to market strategy by driving a focused coverage model on accounts with the greatest opportunity.
Assist management with the weekly, monthly and quarterly forecast process and the annual budget process.
Collaborate with VPs and Business Leaders to ensure creation of business plans that meet the goals of the business across all functions.
Define, implement, and improve the critical metrics to measure the performance of all business functions across the organisation, providing the telemetry to support strategic decision making.
Provide valuable process understanding and insights to the sales and marketing teams, driving opportunity generation and streamlining workflows.
Assist the global sales team with documentation and processes during the sales cycle to improve conversion.
Analyze and report key performance indicators related to Sales Productivity, Market share, Pipeline development, Forecast accuracy, product trends, margin trends and other key metrics.
Deliver continuous improvement in the capture of data in SFDC which results in greater intelligence for the organization.
Actively contribute to the innovation and optimisation of our sales processes globally and drive transformation initiatives across the region.
Work alongside the VP Sales Operations, Chief Revenue Officer and Regional Sales Leads to strategise methods for expanding our market share and generating additional revenue.
Help create and deliver content to help educate the sales force on Process, Policy and programs.
Devise, own and continuously improve the operational framework for regional team that supports needs of GLOBAL Business and stakeholders. Including, create and measure the performance against KPIS that enable the Business leaders to successfully grow the business.
Communicate with other peer professionals across regions to develop and share best practices and ensure standardization across geographic regions.
Construct internal business processes and procedures in collaboration with the global departments to achieve operating excellence and efficiency.
Raise and track issues and conflicts, remove barriers, resolve issues of medium complexity involving stakeholders and escalate to appropriate level when required.
Collaborate with key stakeholders across the business to ensure seamless business execution, reinforce positive morale, help maintain excellent internal customer services and uphold company values.
Lead and manage a team of 1 employee.
Set goals and objectives for the team.
Develop and implement performance management plans.
Provide coaching and mentorship to team members.
Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback.
Assign and delegate work.
Monitor and track team progress.
Identify and solve team problems.
Build and maintain relationships with team members.
Represent the team to other departments and stakeholders.
What You’ll Bring:
A minimum of 10 years of experience is required.
Demonstrated ability to have successfully completed complex projects with coordinated efforts of several peer groups.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Ability work effectively with Staff to Vice President level employees within the organization.
Ability to work collaboratively and act in a lead role as a subject matter expert, within a team environment to meet aggressive goals and pre-defined measurement criteria.
Solid understanding of financial concepts and business operating model.
Creative approach to problem solving.
Program Management training or demonstrated experience.
People Management experience.
Experience in a SaaS or enterprise software company a plus.
Experience with and understanding of complex sales models, licenses, and enterprise sales offerings.
Advanced MS Office and CRM skills, preferably with Salesforce.com and CPQ.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to think outside of the box.
Ability to interact and communicate effectively with others at all levels of the organization.
Ability to lead projects with cross functional teams.
Effective oral and written communication skills, as well as strong organizational, analytical and multi-tasking skills.
Ability to work independently and meet requirements, maintains ownership, offers potential solutions, drives work to completion within specified timelines.
