Assistant Professor of Mathematics
The Department of Mathematics at Rocky Mountain College invites applications
for a tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant Professor level to begin August 2024. The successful candidate possesses a strong
background in mathematics and demonstrated excellence as an instructor. A Ph.D. in mathematics or mathematics education is preferred for
this position. Exceptionally qualified candidates with a Master’s degree in mathematics or mathematics education will also be
considered for this position. The salary for this position starts at $50,000 and is commensurate with experience.
The position
requires teaching an average course load of 12 credits each semester, for a total of 24 credit hours per academic year; service to the
college; and participation in curriculum and course development. Courses to be taught include service courses and mathematics courses across
the undergraduate curriculum, including Abstract Algebra and Combinatorics.
