As a Public Services Worker I for the Street Department, this position performs unskilled, semiskilled, intermediate semiskilled or difficult skilled and technical work in the construction, maintenance, placement and repair of public infrastructures and facilities such as streets, sidewalks, curb and gutter, drainage, signage, street markings, bridges, and related structures. Other duties include driving a truck and/or operating equipment during snow and ice removal, street sweeper, flush truck, and loose-leaf collection program. This position requires working in and around traffic, loud noises, and heavy equipment. This position is required to work an on-call rotation, and may require some nights, weekends, and holidays, with little to no notice.

Minimum Qualifications
Work Schedule
Rotating 10-hour day schedule. Paid bi-weekly.
Monday-Thursday, 6:00AM to 4:30PM. (Week One)
Tuesday-Friday, 6:00AM to 4:30PM (Week Two)
This schedule is subject to change during a holiday week or for emergency service which may require working a flexible schedule with little or no notice and may include weekends, nights, or holidays. This employee will be assigned to the snow and ice removal program and will be subject to working 12-hour shifts during winter or other weather-related events.
