Summary of Position
This position is responsible for efforts related to the management of strategic procurements, pertaining to understanding of forecasting and mitigating supply chain impacts to tier 2 suppliers, as well as managing major subcontracts and subcontracted services.
Accountabilities
– Studies supply chain trends and disruptions, particularly those that will impact BlueCrest production, and engage tier 2 suppliers with planning and risk mitigation efforts to avert disruptions.
– Manages direct order programs serving regional locations. Targets spend categories, initiates corporate agreements, builds supplier relationships and negotiates industry competitive pricing models, best practices, service levels and support for our internal customers.
– Manage the outsourcing & vendors focussed on global/regional distribution in an effort to avoid supply chain disruptions.
– Manages the evaluation and execution of major subcontracts, related to material deliveries, costs, and risks.
– Manages the evaluation and execution of subcontracted services for various project tasks or operational integration of third-party services
– Provides input and/or authors policies and procedures for related programs.
– Identifies BlueCrest’s ongoing needs for the purpose of seeking and analysing competitive bids, selecting and implementing vendors. Monitors and reports on vendor performance.
– Assists with support and communication of additional programs as appropriate.

Business Knowledge/Educational Background
Essential:
– Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably in business administration or management, and substantial experience with a previous background in Procurement / Supply Chain / International Operations
– Demonstrated track record of identifying and delivering cost saving opportunities throughout the business
– Demonstrated ability to drive business success in an environment where there is a strong emphasis on metrics and reporting.
– Demonstrated ability to build and develop successful stakeholder engagements.
– Proficient in Microsoft Office, data analysis and interpretation, presenting to senior business and functional leaders.
– Project Management / Change Management experience
– Professional accreditations such as MCIPs or ISM
– Demonstrated leadership, drive and ambition
Preferred:
– Knowledge of D365 / SRM P2P processes and Spend Analytics tools
