The Principal IT Service Management Specialist is a highly skilled individual contributor or leads a group of 5-8 IT service management professionals in the support of core offerings of the service. Coordinates the activities of the team daily. Assists with team activities and performance. Point person for communicating with other teams and consumers. Ensures procedures are followed. Actively manages and escalates risk and customer-impacting issues within the day-to-day role to management .
Responsibilities
Responsible for assisting with the direction and plan for the service in the future. Proactively seeks to improve the service.
Manages or operates in all functions defined in the service.
Establishes KRI/KPI and other reporting related to the service.
Responsible for the entire situation and choose the path that leads to the desired outcome for any situation affecting the service or its consumers.
Minimum Qualifications
At a minimum, here’s what we need from you:
Associates Degree in Computer Science or related
6 + y ears of e xperience in IT Services or related
In lieu of a degree, 8+ years of experience in IT Services or related
Preferred Qualifications
Bonus Points If You Have:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related
8 + y ears of ex perience in IT Service s or related

Compensation:
The base pay for this position generally ranges between $88,500.00 to $149,300.00. Additional incentives may be provided as part of a market competitive total compensation package. Factors, such as but not limited to, geographical location, relevant experience, education, and skill level may impact the pay for this position.
