As an FPGA Design and Verification Engineer, You Will:
Design and Implement High-Performance FPGA Systems: Spearhead the design and implementation of high-performance FPGA compute and networking systems crucial in electronic trading.
Execute Verification Plans: Develop testbenches and execute verification plans to ensure the correctness of designs.
Collaborate Across Teams: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to tackle novel technical challenges at the intersection of hardware and software.
Contribute to Process and Team Culture: Play a significant role in shaping our process and team culture, continuously iterating on how we build products, focusing not just on what we build.
Required Qualifications:
Educational Background: BS/MS in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
Relevant Experience: 2+ years of relevant experience in digital logic design and/or verification for FPGAs or ASICs.
RTL and Testbench Development: Proficiency in writing RTL and/or testbenches in SystemVerilog (preferred) or VHDL.
Linux Environment Proficiency: Ability to work proficiently in a Linux environment.
Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
Desired Qualifications:
Experience with Xilinx and/or Altera FPGAs: Previous experience working with Xilinx and/or Altera FPGAs.
FPGA Architecture and Design Techniques: Familiarity with FPGA architecture and design techniques, including optimizations for synthesis and timing closure.
Advanced Verification Methodologies: Experience with advanced verification methodologies such as constrained random testbenches, functional coverage, assertions, formal verification, and Universal Verification Methodology (UVM).
Industry Standard Simulation and Design Tools: Familiarity with industry-standard simulation and design tools like VCS, Vivado, and Quartus.
Networking Protocols Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of networking protocols such as IP, TCP, and UDP.
High-Speed Interfaces Experience: Experience with high-speed interfaces like PCIe, Ethernet, and DDR.
Programming Skills: Familiarity with programming languages like C and Python.
