The professional in this role would be the sole HR contact for the Muskogee location and would report to the HR manager in Houston, who would occasionally visit the Oklahoma site.
The HR Generalist would independently make decisions and confidently direct leadership and hourly associates on all aspects of HR, including investigations.

Important Requirements/Qualifications We Are Seeking :
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources HIGHLY preferred
Minimum 3-4 + years exempt level HR experience in an industrial / manufacturing setting
Ability to work onsite during business hours, and this position will require in person engagement with all level of employees
Confidence and professionalism will be KEY.
HR Investigation experience is requried
Small percentage of travel for events that may come up where the HR team would collectively come together for job fairs, events, meetings, etc. .
Strong relationship- building skills in connecting with candidates and internal business partners.
Effective communication and consistent follow-up with employees.
Strong decision making and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
Ability to comfortably work under pressure & meet tight deadlines.
Maintains up-to-date knowledge of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), workers’ compensation laws, insurance, and benefits laws, and other state or federal HR laws.

Key Responsibilities:
Provides strategic HR support to manufacturing managers and employees including implementation of programs, policies and processes.
Support the HR involvement with all corporate employee programs such as employee appreciation

Maintain HRIS data entry and integrity initiatives including training and regular audits.
Participate in developing organizational guidelines, procedures and assist the organization with implementing these.
Ability to understand current regulations and laws relevant to your work, how to apply them and how to mitigate risk.
Lead salary interview and selection process for professional positions including partnering with functional leaders on sourcing and selection criteria and leading candidate selection discussions.
Ability to analyze and provide suggestions on HR metrics and trends within the site to ensure goals are being met.
Identifies performance management opportunities and provides a path for employee development.
Lead detailed and thorough and documented employee investigations, including the appropriate range and scope of detail, with recommendations based on facts concluded in the investigation.
Demonstrates strong leadership in employee relations. Works with managers and employees to develop skills as needed.
Assist with the implementation and administration of HR programs and processes, including staffing, performance management, training and development, and employee relations.
Facilitates employee orientation program.
Administer the hourly employee performance management program which includes annual evaluation and disciplinary process.
Maintain employee records and documentation to meet company’s Standard Operating Procedures, HR’s Standard Operating Procedures, Federal, State, and Local compliance requirements.
Personable and professional in dealing with employees, corporate management and cross functional corporate departments.
Supports other HR functions as needed.
