DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a dynamic Sr. Financial Analysts with an established background in Accounts Payable, general accounting, a strong analytic foundation, and an aptitude to maintain responsibility for a broad range of evolving priorities. As Senior Financial Analyst, Accounts Payable, you’ll become a Subject Matter Expert, in the Procure to Pay process. You’ll support and actively participate in monthly and quarterly financial reporting and closing activities. You’ll also identify and resolve internal and external invoice errors and accounting issues. Your role will involve maintaining all department contract documents in accordance with company standards. This is an on-site, full-time position at the CELSIUS HQ in Boca Raton, Florida.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Reconcile monthly vendor statements resolve open issues and validate any discrepancies.
• Reconcile inventory and non-inventory accruals.
• Partner closely with Operations and Finance Teams to reconcile accrued liabilities and vendor deposits.
• Review expense reports for compliance with travel and entertainment policy.
• Review expense reports for correct coding and verification of out-of-pocket expenses. • Play a key role in general ledger activity including account analysis, reconciliation, and month-end accruals for AP.
• Prepare monthly AP Aging account reconciliations.
• Partner closely with Operations and Finance Teams to reconcile accrued liabilities and vendor deposits.
• Prepare monthly T&E reconciliations and develop spend analysis tracker.
• Ensure company policies, processes, and procedures are clearly defined, updated, and documented.
• Develop and maintain monthly trend reports (DPO)
• Oversee and review AP invoice posting for accuracy.
• Compile and analyze AP financial data for reporting requests as well as present AP aging data monthly during balance sheet reviews.
• Collaborate on project implementations.
• Support internal and external audit requests as needed. • Assist Cash Management Team with any ad hoc research and reporting projects.
REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, information systems or related degree, equivalent work experience or combination of both.
• Must have established background in Procure to Pay process.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills as well as close attention to detail.
• Experience in working with financial information systems preferred.
• Knowledge of U.S. GAAP and Internal Controls.
• Process Management skills.
• Experience with SOX and SDLC requirements preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing, at all levels of responsibility.
• Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, both independently and collaboratively.
• Demonstrated ability to break down problems, investigate root causes and identify timely resolutions.
• Demonstrable understanding of accounting concepts.
• Transactional and analytical experience.
• Attention to detail and solid organizational skills.
Computer Skills
• Intermediate to advanced Office 365 skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Experience with Great Plains software a plus.
