Ashland has an exciting opportunity for a Analytical Chemist to join our Avoca (division of Ashland LLC, Specialty ingredients G.P.) business at our Menomonee Falls, WI. This is a very visible, significant role within the Company and the manufacturing function. This position will report to the Plant Manager.

The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Tolling customers’ GC and HPLC method transfers/validations, SOP documentation
• Lab instrument PMs, spare parts inventory management, and instrument/method troubleshooting
• Master data entry in iLIMs and SAP for new materials and products
• Work with and train operators on instrument and method use.
• Support product quality testing, audit activities and outcomes

In order to be qualified for this role, you must possess the following:

• A minimum of a Bachelors degree in Chemistry
• 3-5 years in GC/HPLC instrumentation, method transfers/development, and ChemStation software
• Good leadership and communication skills

The following skill sets are preferred by the business unit:

• Master degree in Chemistry
• 8-10 years experience with GC/HPLC
