Position Summary:

SAP BW Technical Analyst is a key position in the ERP team where you will have the opportunity to partner with key stakeholders, architects, AMS providers and ensure timely delivery of compliant quality solutions in SAP reporting using SAP BW/4 HANA.

Responsibilities:

The primary purpose of this job is to deliver enhancements, manage the BW architecture in place and provide system fixes in SAP Reporting in partnership with our AMS providers by managing the releases in area of SAP BW/4 HANA.

• Responsible for the overall release management execution in SAP related to SAP BW/4 reporting using BusinessObjects BI.
• Work with business stakeholders, architects, implementation partners and AMS providers to enable business outcomes and ensure optimal functionality of SAP BW/4 HANA.
• Facilitate the reporting requests, ensuring AMS resources have the necessary information to create/update the ADSOs/Composite providers, CDS views, etc. which involves gaining alignment with the functional teams/architects to provide the necessary expertise.
• Provide technical guidance and effort estimates on new reporting needs, ensure they are well documented and simple to understand.
• Provide support for ongoing operations and identify opportunities to improve processes.
• Work with architects to develop/improve development standards and change management processes and help determine the right support structure and change processes for reporting.
• Responsible for change management communication, accountable for user acceptance tests and documentation prior to going live, and post go-live production support handover.
• Ensure technical documentation involving the comprehensive reporting environment is up-to-date.
• Ensure adherence to Global SAP technical design, architecture, development standards and guidelines and participate in architecture review boards as needed.
• Responsible for all changes / enhancements meet with required quality and compliance requirements (GxP, Sox)

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Informatics or Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of experience inData modeling and developing reports using SAP BW/4 HANA and BusinessObjects BI.
• Proven expertise in the following areas: BW Extractors, ADSO, CDS Views, SQL Native HANA, WebI (Web Intelligence), Analysis Office, BW modeling using Eclipse, Open Hub experience.
• Good understanding of business processes in area of Procure to Pay, Order to Cash, Manufacturing, Quality and Sourcing and Record to Report.
• Experience in working with Solution manager and ServiceNow for release management.
• Good analytical and communication skills; ability to communicate effectively both verbally and with written communications.
• Ability to listen, hear, and translate complex business requirements in simple easy to understand language.
• Capable of managing multiple projects and competing requirements with good time management skills.

Additional Skills/Preferences

• Good understanding of business processes in the Life sciences/Pharmaceutical domain and compliance with SOX and GxP.
