The University of Pikeville’s College of Arts and Sciences seeks applicants for a full-time, nine-month faculty appointment in the fields of criminal justice and sociology starting August 2023. Rank and salary will be based on qualifications. This position is for a broadly trained criminologist who is prepared to teach a range of courses in both criminal justice and sociology. Specializations are open, but the ideal applicant will have the ability to teach courses in corrections and/or the judicial system in addition to introductory level courses in both programs, complementing existing programmatic strengths.
