This position will specifically handle all recruitment functions for the VRS Contact Center Including but not limited to:
Working with Human Resources Analysts and Hiring Managers supporting the full cycle recruitment process to include recruitment and selection, preparing job announcements, screening employment applications, selecting qualified candidates for interviews, and scheduling and conducting interviews (in-person and virtual).
Interacting with candidates daily by crafting and sending emails and answering phone calls related to active job announcements.
Monitoring the effectiveness of recruitment efforts and makes recommendations for process improvement.
Engaging in diversity sourcing strategies and proposes ideas to nurture candidate pipelines.
Coordinating recruitment pre-screening activities by initiating and monitoring the progress of criminal background checks, reference checks, and assessments as applicable.
Following up with new hires to ensure all on-boarding paperwork and activities are completed timely to ensure employment begins on agreed start date.
Utilizing HR systems and related databases as needed for research and data entry, develops an understanding on VRS recruitment needs and recruitment policy.
Providing updates on recruitment progress and analytics.
Coordinating the employees first day with hiring managers, technology services and contact center training team.
Coordinating and executing recruiting events and special projects such as career fairs, open houses, seasonal hiring, etc.
Assisting with coordinating temporary staffing needs.
Minimum Qualifications
Two (2) or more years’ experience with coordinating recruitment functions and on-boarding processes.
The most qualified candidates will possess the following:
Working knowledge of hiring principles, laws and procedures
Experience with using applicant tracking systems and other HR related systems
Strong customer services skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Ability to communicate ideas both verbally and in writing and strong listening skills
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external clients
Ability to coordinate with other human resources team members to deliver seamless customer service
Ability to adapt and work effectively in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and working with multiple customers/issues
Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel Ability to use human resource related applications such as application tracking systems
Requires the ability to work with and maintain confidential information and utilize effective time management

This position is hourly working up to 29 hours a week without benefits.
Special Instructions to Applicants
VRS operates in a hybrid work model. Employees work three days remote and two days on site each week.
