Position Summary:
The HR Manager facilitates the efficient management and administration of the Human Resources function to include recruiting, training, benefit administration, and the execution of team member relation practices, in order to provide each department with the team, guidance and support necessary to achieve their guest service and business objectives. The HR Manager will also support other operational departments as needed.
Job Duties:
· To create and implement a training strategy at the Resort including guest service and hospitality.
· Manage the coordination of the recruiting process including phone screens, background/drug screen checks, reference checks and onboarding.
· Develop new recruitment strategies in the market.
· Revise and update employee manual and SOPs.
· Focus on training, employee relations, talent acquisition and benefits.
· Comply with local and federal employment law components such as FMLA, Worker’s Comp, etc…
· Mentor managers and guide them on how to effectively handle employee relation concerns.
· Work with department managers in developing department policies and processes.
· Develop an on boarding program, conduct New Hire Orientation and trainings.
· Collaborates with vendor partners for benefits and employee relations activities, programs, and events.
· Manage, processes, and communicate company benefits programs.
· Facilitate employee recognition programs.
· Organizes, examines, and processes team member performance reviews.
· Assists managers in effectively completing and presenting disciplinary action documents.
· Facilitate employee conflict resolution.
· Ensure all termination processes are followed.
· Oversee employee housing.
· Generates and creates reports for projects as assigned.
· Collaborate and support other departments as needed including Finance and Operations.
· Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $44,000.00 – $54,000.00 per year
