The DoD Cyber Crime Center provides digital forensics support to DoD law enforcement and counterintelligence agencies.
The qualified candidate will provide technical oversight of a multi-site enterprise level WAN, including planning, implementation/expansion, maintenance, and troubleshooting. You will prepare and maintain documentation of network configurations and cabling layouts; design, deploy, and administer the wireless infrastructure and supporting systems; recommend upgrades, patches, and new applications and equipment; train team members on new hardware or software; analyze and monitor server security and implement patches and fixes to address potential security matters; provide hardware and operating system support for the entire DC3 environment.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field and 8+ years experience as a network administrator or network engineer, or M S and 6+ years experience.
Top Secret/SCI security clearance
DoD 8570 IAT Level III certification (CASP+ CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP (or Associate), GCED, GCIH)
Advanced knowledge of network operating systems including Cisco, JUNOS, and IOS
Knowledge of networking hardware including CPUs, wiring, and routers
Familiarity with communication and routing protocols
Familiarity with network analysis tools
Excellent leadership and mentoring skills
