ChristianaCare is looking to employ a Practice Manager for Wilmington Primary Care.

The Practice Manager is responsible for the overall operations of large, complex, and or multiple Medical Group practices achieving balanced scorecard financial, quality, productivity, and patient/staff satisfaction performance goals. The Practice Manager partners with the Clinical Leaders and Operational Leaders regarding strategic planning, program and business development, continuous quality improvement and financial/budget reporting and monitoring for defined practices. The Practice Manager collaborates with other Medical Group Practice Managers and Directors in ensuring maximum benefit from office workflow efficiency and standardization across the Medical Group.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Partners with the Clinical and Operational Leaders of Medical Group assigned practices in the management of practice operations, financial performance, quality patient care, and patient satisfaction
• Responsible for monthly financial and operating budget variance analytics and reporting.
• Advances workflow process optimization leading and championing continuous improvement projects to improve patient satisfaction.
• Coordinates assigned practice relationship with the Access Center including establishing and maintaining Service Level Agreements, communication processes, and partnering in ongoing improvements
• Leads efforts to create conditions for staff engagement
• Partners with the Clinical Leader to create, maintain, and improve clinical care and workflows
• Collaborates with other Medical Group Practice Managers, Directors, and Clinical Leaders to share and spread best practices
• Directs practice staff management
• Directly manages Practice Supervisor or Clinical Coordinator or Site Supervisor or other Manager/Supervisors as assigned
• Performs other related duties as required.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

High School diploma required. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Three years of experience working in a medical practices with at least 2 years supervisory experience.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILL, AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to lead change

Ability to independently manage physician group communication and work processes and respond appropriately to unforeseen circumstances

Ability to establish relationships and collaborate with clinicians and other leadership staff

Skilled in working in teams with ability to work independently as needed

Skilled in oral and written communication
