SUMMARY
The Director, Account Management under the leadership of the Vice President, Sales & Marketing will support the process to increase the sales of GSFS finance and insurance (F&I) products and services to our clients and ensure their long-term success.
The Director will be responsible for increasing the demand for GSFS products across the United States by; 1) utilizing existing relationships with Agents and Agencies, Consolidators and National Retailers to introduce GSFSGroup products and services, proven ability to move these relationships to be exclusive partner, 2) managing a team of Account Executives whose responsibility is to manage a portfolio of assigned clients, develop new business from existing clients and actively seek new opportunities, including developing strong relationships with clients, connecting with key business executives/stakeholders, and 3) Liaise between clients and cross-functional internal teams, ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to client needs and improve the entire client experience.

Directly supervises one or more employees in this position. Carries out responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees, planning, assigning, and directing work, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees, addressing complaints and resolving problems.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university; 10 plus years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have experience with and current relationships with consolidators, agents, and non-automotive distribution channels.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

While performing the duties of the job, the associate is required on a daily basis to analyze and interpret data, communicate, and remain in a stationary position for a significant amount of the work day; and frequently access, input, and retrieve information from the computer and other office productivity devices. The associate is regularly required to move about the office and around the corporate campus. The associate is frequently required to travel to other sites, including out-of-state, where applicable, for business. The associate must frequently move up to 10 pounds and occasionally move up to 25 pounds.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an associate encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. While the job is generally performed in an office environment, the associate is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, areas in which moving mechanical parts, fumes, toxic or caustic chemicals are present, and outside weather conditions. The noise level in the office environment is typically quiet, but the associate may be occasionally exposed to loud noise levels.
TRAVEL REQUIRED
This job requires significant domestic travel (up to 50% of the time). As a result, the duties for this position occur in various places including, but not limited to an office environment, car dealerships, and semi-industrial settings.
