• In accordance with regulations of the Texas Board of Vocational Nurse Examiners, the Clinical Supervisor, RN will perform oversight of direct care in the community, health clinics and centers, and mobile clinics of Monkeypox services.
• Maintains knowledge of CDC-recommended vaccines and administers age-appropriate immunizations.
• Interview clients and document medical/psychosocial information in the electronic medical records.
• Assists with patient appointments by performing immunizations and testing services, vital signs, patient histories, etc.
• Participates in performing quality assurance and checks on lab specimens and preparing specimens for transport.
• Assists the Midlevel Providers and Physicians, in tracking and monitoring abnormal lab results and reschedules lapsed appointments.
• Assists with linking patients to care by coordinating activities
• Maintains confidentiality of client’s information

Job Responsibilities:

• The RN will be required to perform oversight of direct care in the clinics.
• Daily responsibilities will include managing clinical team and operations of administering immunization, performing vital signs, performing lab tests and keeping track/ordering medical & non-medical supplies.
• Monitoring abnormal lab results, calling patients, linking patients to care, and assisting providers.
• The role is needed to provide support for Monkeypox services.
• Providing oversight of Monkeypox immunizations.
• Provide oversight of Monkeypox testing services.
• Supporting Community Health Services clinics as needed.
