The Human Resources Coordinator will be primarily responsible for providing human resources support and services to Spanish speaking company associates. In addition, the Human Resources Coordinator will assist the Human Resource department with the day-to-day activities within the department.
RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES
* Answer Associate questions and help facilitate resolution of benefits and employee relations issues by partnering with Benefits and ER professionals at Team Headquarters
* Field all phone calls when the Spanish-speaking option is requested by the caller
* Create and maintain Associate employment records
* Complete verification of employment wage statements
* Comply with legal subpoena requests for employment records
* Submit Workers Compensation wage statement claim forms
* Process life-event and manual enrollments in the UltiPro system and other vendor systems
* Participate in regular benefits meetings, remotely and occasionally at other locations
* Facilitate the distribution of benefit materials and information
* Responsible for supporting the Human Resources support line
* Translate documents from English to Spanish
* Keep up-to-date with the latest HR trends and best practices
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
* Bilingual in English and Spanish with the ability to read, write, and speak fluently
* Strong customer service skills and attention to detail
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office
* Experience with human resource and/or benefits system
* Ability to read and comprehend documents (e.g., policy and procedure manuals); write routine correspondence; speak/present in front of a small group
* Ability to work independently as well as a member of the HR team
REQUIRED EDUCATION
This minimum requirements for this position are a high school diploma or general education degree (GED); and 1 to 3 years related experience and/or training.
