Specific Duties/Job Requirements:
Analyzes relevant technical documentation to determine system requirements, creates specifications, and establishes processes and working parameters
Conducts reviews of system hardware and software designs to ensure compatibility with requirements and performance metrics
Prepares and maintains technical documentation, including a Requirements Traceability and Verification Matrix (RTVM) and Software Product Design (SPD)
Uses modeling tools and languages (e.g., Unified Modeling Language [UML] and Systems Modeling Language [SysML]) and MBSE knowledge to develop and maintain system models.
Develops test plans and procedures for use in verification and customer acceptance testing
Completes other duties and responsibilities, as required
Required Experience/Education/Clearance:
Bachelor of Science (B.S.) or Master of Science (M.S.) in a computer science or engineering field (or equivalent/qualified experience)
4+ years of relevant work experience
Experience defining complex system requirements and participating in the development of simulation and training systems required
Proficiency in the use of modeling tools, including Enterprise Architect, MagicDraw, Cameo, Rhapsody, or similar
Knowledge of modeling languages, including UML and/or SysML
Superior time management and organizational skills
Outstanding written and oral communication skills
Proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet tools (i.e., Word and Excel)
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Preferred Experience/Education:
In addition to the minimum qualifications, the ideal candidate will have at least one or more of the following-
Experience in creating and evaluating system performance metrics
Experience conducting technical reviews and providing design feedback
Experience presenting complex engineering concepts to non-technical audiences during design reviews
Any of the following is a plus-
Experience with simulation and/or game engine development (especially Unity)
Experience with the Atlassian tool suite (e.g., Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket)
