Job Summary: The candidate must ensure the accuracy of all daily shipping paperwork prior to shipping of AAON products

Essential Responsibilities/Activities

• Prepares accurate shipping reports for accounting on a daily basis.
• Looks up freight costs on e-shipping for each order.
• Enters accurate data on a daily basis.
• Communicates via telephone and e-mail with internal and external customers.
• Sorts and files documents as required.
• Establishes and follows processes to ensure correct paperwork is completed timely and per shipping requirements.
• Assists at front counter when needed.
• Maintains SOP Handbook
• Acts as administrative assistant to parts, warranty & shipping departments.

Minimum Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent.

Essential Mental Functions

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook.
• Good accurate Ten-key skills.
• Ability to work with others in a team environment.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment.
• Ability to exercise good judgment and decision-making to get orders processed correctly and timely.
• Excellent analytical problem-solving abilities.
• Must be detail-oriented and accurate with forms and numbers.
• Ability to demonstrate a sense of urgency and initiative in dealing with shipping paperwork.
• Ability to be flexible and perform several functions at once and in a timely manner.
• Ability to be attentive to all customer needs as necessary.

Essential Physical Functions

• Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
• Ability to climb, stoop, and sit for prolonged periods.
• Requires periodic visits to manufacturing facility with seasonal hot and cold temperatures, dust, and some chemical fume exposure.
