ABA Client Care Coordinator

Who We Are:

We are a vertically integrated behavioral healthcare organization with clinics across 3 states and dozens of providers. Though we have many large behavioral healthcare clinics, we are relatively new to the Autism space. We currently have 3 operational autism clinics with another one under construction and an aggressive growth strategy that incorporates 50+ new clinic openings in the next 3-5 years. The mission of ABA Centers of America is to provide clients and their families with individualized and comprehensive care, helping to navigate the social, emotional, communication, and daily living challenges experienced by those with autism.

Under the direction of the Program Director, the guidance of the clinical staff and within established policies and procedures, the Client Care Coordinator is responsible for client reception, phone and email communications, admissions, new patient intake, scheduling, office support and clerical functions.

· Addressing in-bound inquiries, including phone calls and email, regarding the company’s ABA services.

· Managing the intake process, including the obtaining demographic, insurance, consents and other necessary information and documentation from prospective clients, working with internal benefits coordinators to verify benefits, obtain authorizations and finalize contracts to provide services.

· Scheduling clients for all appointments, including initial assessments, center office visits and on-site therapy services.

· Providing reception services for clients and their parents/guardians upon arrival at the ABA center.

· Answering and directing telephone calls, taking messages for providers and staff as necessary.

· Coordinate communication between client’s service providers.

· Supporting clinical staff in administrative/non-medical matters.

· Learning and performing new standards and processes as they are implemented.

· Participating in patient and staff service/ satisfaction initiatives.

· Completing all workplace trainings as required.

HIPAA

Team members are required to adhere to policies and procedures implementing HIPAA requirements for the privacy and security of protected health information. Team members are permitted to use and/or disclose only minimum amount of Protected Health Information necessary to complete assigned tasks.

Reports all suspected violation of company’s HIPAA policies or procedures to Human Resources.

Environmental Stewardship and Safety

• Team members are expected to adhere to facility safety requirements, report unsafe practices or equipment, and, if applicable, use the appropriate protective equipment as needed.
• Depending on role, and during the daily course of duties, team members may have to lift, twist, pull or push. Team members must be able to manage these activities up to 60 lbs.
• Any accident or incident must be reported immediately to a member of management for proper recording.

Pay: $28.00 – $29.00 per hour
