Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and organized Dispatching Manager to oversee and optimize our locksmith services’ dispatch operations.
As a Dispatching Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient allocation of locksmith technicians to service requests, maintaining high customer satisfaction, and coordinating seamless communication between our team and clients. Your attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and leadership skills will be essential in managing a smooth workflow and achieving service excellence.
Responsibilities:
Dispatch Operations: Efficiently manage incoming service requests and dispatch locksmith technicians to assigned jobs based on location, skills, and availability.
Priority Management: Assess the urgency of service requests and assign appropriate response times, considering the nature of the issue and customer preferences.
Scheduling: Create and maintain technician schedules, ensuring optimal coverage during peak service hours and emergency situations.
Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for customers, providing timely updates on technician arrival times, job progress, and any unforeseen delays.
Resource Allocation: Allocate necessary tools, equipment, and supplies to technicians, ensuring they have all required resources to perform their tasks effectively.
Problem Solving: Address unexpected challenges and changes in real-time, adjusting dispatch assignments and schedules as needed to accommodate dynamic situations.
Quality Control: Monitor service delivery to ensure compliance with company standards, reviewing completed jobs for accuracy, completeness, and customer satisfaction.
Data Management: Maintain accurate records of service requests, dispatch activities, technician performance, and customer interactions using appropriate software systems.
Team Collaboration: Foster a collaborative environment by working closely with locksmith technicians, customer service representatives, and other relevant teams to streamline processes and enhance overall service quality.
Performance Tracking: Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to dispatch operations, technician response times, customer feedback, and service efficiency.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process enhancements, workflow optimizations, and technological advancements to improve dispatch efficiency and customer experience.
Emergency Response: Coordinate rapid response to emergency situations, such as lockouts or security breaches, ensuring technicians are dispatched promptly and effectively.
Requirements:
Experience: Proven experience in dispatching operations, preferably in the locksmith or related field.
Leadership Skills: Ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team of locksmith technicians in a fast-paced environment.
Communication: Exceptional communication skills to interact with customers, technicians, and internal teams effectively.
Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage simultaneous service requests and prioritize tasks appropriately.
Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills to address unexpected challenges and adapt to changing circumstances swiftly.
Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accurate scheduling and precise communication.
Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with dispatch software, GPS tracking, and other relevant technological tools.

Availability: Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to ensure 24/7 coverage and response.
