Location: Town of Sparta
A  Employment Services in partnership with a well respected company in Sparta is currently seeking a skilled and motivated Electronic Technician to join our team for the 2nd shift. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems and maintenance, with a focus on ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our manufacturing equipment. This position offers the opportunity to work with state-of-the-art technology and make a significant impact on our production processes

Job Overview

Shift: 2nd, 2pm-10pmSalary: 60k-70k Electronic Technician

Description:

The Electronic Technician is responsible for maintaining the equipment in the Inline Metallizing Department to produce quality parts safely and efficiently.

Electronic Technician

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Follows companies Safety Policies, Rules of Conduct, and work procedures.

• Work independently with limited supervision.

• Monitor electronic control systems and adjust as necessary.

• Troubleshoot, repair, and document mechanical, pneumatic, electronic breakdowns.

• Manage equipment parts inventories and order as needed.

• Perform preventive maintenance as required.

• Investigate root causes of defects and determine what actions are needed with the Process Technician.

• Ability to work overtime on other shifts on a short-term basis to cover other technical staff absences.

Minimum Qualifications /Experience/

Qualifications:

• Automation experience working with pneumatics, PLC controls, basic electronics.

• Must be able to read and use precision measuring devices.

• Must have the ability to understand and monitor electronic control systems, including HMI displays.

• Must be able to perform basic math, read and understand instructions.

• One year of related experience in a maintenance role in a manufacturing setting.

• Robotics, Painting and Metallization experience would be preferred but not required.
Environmental/

Working Conditions:

• Factory environment.

• Will be exposed to moderate noise, oil, dust, paint, and warm conditions.

• Will be exposed to moving mechanical parts.
