Our growing client in Manitowoc is seeking people to work in Shipping on 1st shift.
Shipping & Receiving
Compensation/Benefits:
• 1st shift – 9:00 a.m.
– 5:00 p.m
• Train: 7am- 3pm
• $18.00/hour
• Monday – Friday
• Medical, Dental, Vision and Paid Vacation
Shipping & Receiving
Responsibilities:
• Pull shop orders off containers of plated material.
• Verify piece count and ship to address.
• Package containers following wrap and pack orders.
• Receive incoming shipments, verifying piece counts and container counts.
• Performs all other similar or related duties as necessary
• Verify identity information and quantity.
• Follow “wrap and pack” orders.
• Write the company invoice on the container.
• Compare identifying information and quantities on the packing slip against the purchase order.
• Enter the purchase order by computer, which generates a packing list.
• Verify physical counts on incoming shipments.
• Assist in warehouse organization.
• Package orders for out-of-town shipments.
• Courteous and polite on phone to our drivers, commercial drivers and our customers.
Shipping & Receiving
Requirements:
• Must have good phone skills.
• Acquire a forklift license.
• Be able to lift 50 lbs.
• General knowledge of warehouse procedures.
• Be able to read and write.
• Confidentiality is a must.
