Ability to understand basic electronic theory and mechanics. Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, test equipment, and instruments.
Able to obtain forklift certification and operate forklifts, non-powered dollies, pallet jacks, and hand trucks. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow. Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams and committees. Ability and willingness to adapt to constantly changing priorities.
At least 21 years of age. Ability to obtain and/or maintain a Terminal Handlers License from the Illinois Gaming Board Your Duties and Responsibilities: Ensure quality and integrity of all incoming and outgoing equipment. Move video gaming terminals (slot machines), Ticket Redemption Machines, Automatic Teller Machines, Amusement Equipment, and associated equipment between transport trucks, warehouse storage, and equipment preparation areas.
Use non-powered dollies, pallet jacks, and hand trucks. Disassemble obsolete or damaged equipment, then test and clean removed parts. Inspect, test, troubleshoot, clean, and perform repairs on electronic gaming devices, Ticket Redemption Machines, Automatic Teller Machines, Amusement Equipment, machine parts, and associated equipment.
Install and remove locks on video gaming terminals, Ticket Redemption Machines, Automatic Teller Machines, and Amusement Devices. Identify and troubleshoot all malfunctions to perform necessary repairs of electronic devices and equipment. Identify and communicate inventory needs for equipment Observe all safety regulations and report unsafe conditions to management.
Follow all department, company, and state policies and procedures. Additional duties may be required, such as oversight on parts, managing any camera-related initiatives, and installing gaming and amusement equipment.
