The Nurse Practitioner-Psychiatry provides patient care services by assessing and treating mental illnesses through a combination of psychotherapy, psychoanalysis, hospitalization, and medication. Independently participate in the delivery of direct client care within the scope of authority granted by the Louisiana State Board of Nursing and following the AHL protocols and standards.The successful Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner candidate will have or obtain an unrestricted license in the State of Louisiana and have full prescriptive authority. The salary range for this position is $128,000-$135,000 per year depending on experience.
