Position – Supply Chain Lead

Job Objective:

The objective of this job is to support the smooth and efficient flow of materials, products, and information within the supply chain. This includes tasks like inventory management, order processing, and logistics coordination. Goal is to contribute to timely and cost-effective supply chain operations, ensuring products are available when needed and helping the organization meet customer demands while minimizing costs and delays.

Primary responsibilities:

• Vendor Development for ingredients suppliers in nutritional segment. Vendor development for raw material as well as other products in North America for ACG group companies
• Vendor and Supplier Interaction: Maintaining communication with suppliers and vendors, negotiating terms, and addressing any supply chain-related issues or delays.
• Inventory Management: Keeping track of stock levels, monitoring inventory turnover, and ensuring that products are adequately stocked without excess or shortages.
• Coordination of supplies from North America for all ACG group company supplies
• Logistics Management: Managing and selection of 3PL, transporters, shipping line and custom brokers. Arranging transportation, distribution, and warehousing activities to optimize the flow of goods through the supply chain.
• Data Analysis: Analysing supply chain data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and cost-saving opportunities.
• Demand Forecasting: Collaborating with other teams to predict future demand and adjust inventory levels accordingly.
• Quality Control: Ensuring that products meet quality standards through inspections and quality checks at various points in the supply chain.
• Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintaining accurate records of inventory levels, orders, and shipments for audit and analysis purposes. Maintain Purchase Order (PO) system. Maintain SAP
• Continuous Improvement: Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of supply chain operations.
• Collaboration: Working closely with cross-functional teams, including procurement, sales, production, and customer service, to ensure seamless coordination throughout the supply chain.
• Compliance: Ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations in the supply chain process.
• Problem Solving: Addressing supply chain issues and resolving any disruptions to maintain a smooth flow of materials and products.

Required Skills and abilities:

Atleast 5 years of Vendor Development, Imports and Domestic Transportation experience.

Negotiating skills

Organizational skills for efficient office control

Ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels of the organization and external contacts.
