FUNCTION:
Provides indirect and direct clinical support to people with disabilities throughout Achieva Support. Responsible for providing oversight to clinical team members, including LPNs and other clinical staff as assigned to ensure medical services and supports are provided to people for people with disabilities within multiple Achieva Support programs. Assesses and reports clinical needs as needed. Educates staff and people supported on medical care requirements and health and wellness enhancements. Acts as a liaison to internal and external healthcare professionals to promote health and safety to people supported. Assists with medical appointments as needed. Reports to the Director of Clinical Services.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Satisfactory completion of a registered nursing program. Valid Pennsylvania RN license required. Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred. Minimum of one-year supervisory experience in the oversight of healthcare personnel required. Experience supporting people with intellectual developmental disabilities in long-term services and supports preferred. Computer literacy required. Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Some local travel and some evenings and weekends required. Satisfactory Act 33/34 and FBI clearances necessary. Reliable transportation. PA driver’s license preferred.
