We are looking for an experienced, dedicated, and energetic individual to lead our OSP construction team.
Construction Manager will ensure that a contract for products/services is delivered to the satisfaction of the customer and company. Manager will coordinate with company and customer to develop project plans, determine resource requirements, and schedule all assets of the project from inception to completion. Directly manage all supervisors and construction crews that are assigned to its areas. Construction Manager will manage all aspects of the pre-construction and construction phases of the OSP job and ensure that it is delivered on budget and within quality and safety standards. Manage and monitor status of all labor and components and verify that work is completed to customer’s satisfaction. Participate in project meetings to support project efforts and resolve any field issues or project delays. Inspect and ensure work quality and safety regulations. Preform employee reviews, recommend promotions, and carry out employee disciplinary actions. Review, evaluate and approve all SOW, MOP, Project Plans, schedules, drawings required for assigned jobs. Prepare and compile action plans, resolve problems and implement change. Qualify, approve, and review suppliers and subcontractors to protect company’s interest. Participate and assist in new quotes and business development for the company. This position reports to the Director and Executive level and works in collaboration with other managers and supervisors.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
Minimum 7 years in the utility construction industry
Minimum 3 years of OSP management experience
Working knowledge of optical equipment, routers, switching and structural cabling.
Knowledge of all aspects of underground and aerial construction
Knowledge of Fiber and coax splicing
Must be able to read and understand engineered construction drawings and MOPs
Excellent communication skills

Pay: $78,000.00 – $92,000.00 per year
