Location: REMOTE | Ideally based in Wilmington, NC or Miami/Tampa, Florida for occasional in-person meetings.

Thank you for considering this opportunity! Addigy is looking for an senior accountant. We need an energetic and driven self-starter with a high level of initiative to thrive in a fast-paced and rapidly growing, cutting-edge, high tech start-up supporting the Apple Ecosystem/Mac community.

As the senior accountant, you will completely own the full billing process for Addigy working with Salesforce-from “Salesforce Opportunity to close” to invoicing and AR reconciliation. You will be responsible for providing an exceptional experience for both our internal and external customers through accurate customer invoicing and regular maintenance of renewals and recurring billing accounts, and for the general integrity of customer data in our Quote to Cash (QTC), SaaSOptics and Salesforce systems. This position also supports the Controller with general AR and collection activities, audits, reporting and serves as a resource for customer questions and other reconciliation issues.

The Work You’ll Do:

• In partnership with the Controller, ensure that revenue is reflected accurately in the general ledger.
• Unique opportunity to work alongside the Controller on ad hoc projects with day-to-day accounting activities including audits and reporting
• Work with the Sales Team to review and process all Quotes/ Orders with urgency.
• Ensure that contracts and all Salesforce data and other documentation meet Addigy Sales, Finance, Security and Legal process standards.
• Proactively reach out to the Sales Team on any orders that are not ready for approval, and communicate needed changes to approve the order as quickly as possible.
• Process internal requests for address changes, billing account changes, rate changes, account termination, account reactivation, recurring billing additions, etc.
• Ensure that all Sales Orders submitted before monthly cutoff are invoiced prior to month-end closing.
• Lead the AR and collections processes
• Look for ways we can work smarter and improve existing processes
• Create a playbook to document all the accounting workflows, processes and best practices.
• In partnership with (and approval from) the Controller, document, communicate, and update all billing department processes and procedures.

Skills & Requirements:

• 3-5 years of previous experience in Accounting.
• Solid understanding of US GAAP
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Superb attention to detail. Data integrity is essential.
• Ability and genuine desire to create a great customer experience with both internal and external customers. You must enjoy helping people!
• Ability to follow directions, meet strict deadlines, and work independently
• Excellent English – written and spoken. You need to communicate through well-written, professional documents (spreadsheets, email) over the phone, etc.
• Strong Collaboration Skills
• Ability to quickly adapt to change
• Confidentiality and discretion are required at all times.

Bonus:

• Bachelors/Masters Degree in Accounting
• Experience working with a SaaS/Technology company
• Experience working with a global company
• Experience working with Systems & Tools you will use in this role: Apple/MacBooks, G-Suite, Salesforce, QTC (proprietary software), SaaSOptics, Slack, Zoom, MS Office
