We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Bilingual (English/Spanish) HR Assistant to support our Human Resources department. This role involves assisting with HR functions such as onboarding, orientations, benefits administration, performance management, and employee engagement. Additionally, the HR Assistant will serve as the receptionist, managing front desk operations and ensuring a positive experience for visitors and employees.

Key Responsibilities
Onboarding & Orientation:
Coordinate onboarding for new hires: prepare offer letters, conduct background checks, and manage paperwork.
Organize and facilitate new hire orientations for smooth integration into the company.
Benefits Administration:
Assist with managing employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives.
Respond to employee inquiries regarding benefits and assist with enrollments.
Performance Management:
Support the implementation and tracking of performance management processes.
Coordinate performance review schedules and ensure evaluations are completed on time.
Employee Engagement:
Plan and execute employee engagement activities and events.
Assist with employee surveys and collect feedback to enhance workplace culture.
Support initiatives to improve employee satisfaction and retention.
Attendance & Disciplinary Actions:
Manage the attendance point system and ensure accurate tracking of attendance.
Issue warnings based on attendance records and company policy.
Assist with disciplinary actions and serve as a witness during meetings.
Provide translation assistance to supervisors as needed.
Receptionist Duties:
Serve as the primary point of contact for visitors and employees, offering a welcoming and professional front desk presence.
Handle general inquiries and manage front desk operations.
Administrative Support:
Maintain employee records and HR databases.
Prepare HR-related documents, reports, and presentations.
Provide general administrative support to the HR department and assist with other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; Associate s or Bachelor s degree in Human Resources or related field preferred.
Bilingual in English and Spanish.
Previous experience in an HR or administrative role is a plus.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proactive with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HRIS systems.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Working Conditions
Full-time position.
Occasional overtime may be required during peak periods or special projects.
Diverse work environment including office and production floor.
Regular interaction with employees and visitors.
Pay Details: 20.00 to 25.00 per hour
