This position will assist the department by:

Delivering/Retrieving medical charts from various locations within the hospital

Assemble patient charts

Copy patient charts

Add paperwork to medical records

File medical records

Prepare closed records to be placed in storage (box records)

Gather chart information required for various monitoring’s

**Transcription experience is a plus, but not required

Candidate will be handling confidential information, must maintain Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPPA) compliance and detail oriented.

This position involves standing/sitting for periods of time, walking, repetitive filing, lifting 40 lbs max

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 – $24.00 per hour

• Medical records: 3 years (Preferred)
• Customer service: 3 years (Preferred)
• Assemble patient charts: 3 years (Preferred)

• Filing: 3 years (Preferred)
• Lifting 40 lbs max: 3 years (Preferred)
• Microsoft Office: 4 years (Preferred)
