This position will provide direct leadership and supervision our front Office Assistant Team. You will ensure efficient and exceptional customer service is provided by all team members. You are responsible for creating and maintaining administrative work processes. You will provide support to assist with escalated concerns and maintain a pleasant and secure working environment. This position will report to and work with the Professional/Technical Supervisor of the Administrative Team.
This position is also a member of our Developmental Disabilities Services Management Team. As a part of this team you participate in program planning and process improvement. At times you may need to act as a liaison to Facilities, Information Services, Fiscal Services for building and staff support.
About the Division
Lane County Health and Human Services Administration and Support Services includes department support services and some direct services. This program is responsible for negotiating and monitoring H&HS subcontracted services, and H&HS fiscal and evaluation services.
Schedule: Monday – Friday; 8:00am – 5:00pm

High School Diploma, or G.E.D., supplemented by specialized training and four years of related experience, including lead or supervisory experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above.

Physical Requirements:
Positions in this class typically require: fingering, grasping, talking, hearing, seeing, and repetitive motions.
Sedentary Work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.

Health insurance coverage becomes effective the first of the month following your first 30 days as an eligible employee.
Medical/Rx/Vision – Lane County offers medical, prescription and vision exam coverage for you and your eligible dependents. The plan options and costs per month for 2018 are outlined below:
If you enroll in the HDHP the County will contribute to your HSA: $1,500 (individual) or $3,000 (family) annually. This amount is prorated based on date of hire.
Eligible employees who complete a Health History Risk Assessment (HHRA), Biometric Screening, and Comprehensive Health Review (CHR) at the Live Well Center receive a $20 per month credit.
Wellness Clinic – The Live Well Center is for Lane County benefits-eligible employees, spouses and dependents (ages 2 and up) who are enrolled in the Lane County health plan.
