Act as day-to-day People & Culture point of contact for employees within the assigned population
Contribute to the development and implementation of company policies and procedures that are compliant with employment laws and in alignment with company culture and values
Support managers and new employees through the onboarding process
Execute on annual People & Culture programs in partnership with the AG P&C team, including employee engagement survey and action planning, performance management, compensation planning, rewards and recognition programs, long-term incentive/employee retention programs, diversity & inclusion
Support managers and employees through performance management and development plans
Manage and resolve general employee relations issues. Conduct effective, thorough and objective investigations as needed
Execute on employee transitions or terminations, supporting both manager and employee through the process, hosting exit interviews, and ensuring a smooth transition
Maintain accurate and comprehensive employee records
Develop strong relationships at all levels of the organization, within the People & Culture team, and with external vendors
Foster an environment that leverages diversity and builds in best practices for collaboration and inclusion in the organization Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
Certification in HR (PHR/SPHR and/or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP) preferred
Minimum of 3 years Human Resources experience, with a minimum of 1 year experience as a strategic HR Business Partner in a global, fast-paced, high rate-of-change environment
Experience and/or understanding of the assigned business unit industry (Clinical Research or Life Sciences –Advanced Clinical; Staffing or Professional Services –Advanced Group, Advanced Resources, WunderLand, Advanced RPO)
Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local HR related laws and regulations.
Proven experience in handling general employee relations issues; can quickly investigate and uncover, and adeptly address root cause issues with manager and employees
Results-driven, agile change agent with d emonstrated ability to manage execution of large-scale projects or programs
Unquestionable personal integrity, fairness and credibility. Able to manage confidential information and act with discretion.
Listens well and empathizes with others
Ability to deal with conflict and have difficult conversations
Ability to communicate with conviction, clearly and effectively
Project Management skills, multitask and easily prioritizes
Role Competencies
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience; industry certification such as PHR, CSP or SHRM-CP a plus
Minimum of 3 years Human Resources experience
Demonstrated ability working in the Human Resources function within a fast moving, multi-faceted and global organization
Experience and/or understanding of the assigned business unit industry (Clinical Research or Life Sciences – Advanced Clinical; Staffing or Professional Services – Advanced Group, Advanced Resources, WunderLand, Advanced RPO)
Knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee and union relations, diversity, performance management, and international employment laws
Proven experience in handling complex employee relations issues; can quickly investigate and uncover, and adeptly address root cause issues with manager and employees
