Our Claremont, NH location is currently seeking full-time experienced and dedicated Foreman Coax Splicers for our Aerial Division. This is a great opportunity to join a growing company with opportunities for career growth as we continue to expand.

Responsibilities:

• Install and repair aerial telecommunications cable
• Safely use hand tools and equipment such as wrenches, drills, ladders, lanyards, saws, lashers, and more.
• Safely operate mechanized equipment such as bucket trucks, and more.
• Organizes, leads, and trains employees to complete projects within established time frame and guidelines.
• Splice trunk, Splice feeder, Splice taps
• Sweep and balance

• Ensures safe and efficient operation/completion of assigned jobs.
• Completes necessary paperwork and related documentation.
• Setting up safety perimeter using signage, cones, safety barriers
• Understanding of separation and clearance regulations
• Ability to safely work aloft using ladders.

Qualifications

• Previous construction experience, preferably in the telecommunications industry.
• Must have knowledge of established aerial installation procedures and techniques.
• Able to perform all duties in telecommunications construction (such as pole transfers, maintenance builds, new build, cable installation, over lash, and strand construction)
• Ability to work in a bucket truck and work aloft up to 40 feet.
• Ability to read and understand prints/maps, safety rules, and operating instructions.
• Ability to set up & maintain safe work areas.
• Able to lift/carry 50lbs regularly and up to 100lbs as needed with or without assistance
• A valid, unrestricted driver’s license (Required)
• Must have a clean driving record (Required)
• Ability to work in all weather conditions
• Ability to obtain a DOT medical card
• Must be authorized to work in the United States

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 – $40.00 per hour
