Job Summary
AECOM is seeking a Civil Engineer to be based in Atlanta, Georgia.
This position is expected to begin is December, 2021.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Performs specific and limited portions of a broader assignment of an experienced engineer.
Gathers and correlates basic engineering data using established and well-defined procedures.
Works on detailed or routine engineering assignments involving calculations associated with Storm Drainage Design.
Proposes approach to solve new problems encountered.
Identifies discrepancies in results.
Provides guidance to other team members.
Performs work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule with moderate supervision.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree with two (2) years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Experience in the use of drainage analysis and associated design software technology applications (e.g. HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, TUFLOW, PCSWMM, AutoCad, Civil 3D, GIS etc.)
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
Three (3) years’ experience in a similar role
Micro Station Experience
Experience in hydrological studies, hydraulic analysis and design of storm water drainage infrastructure such as roadway inlets, pipe sizing, hydrology reports
Experience in the design of erosion protection, flood control structures and runoff treatment and management devices
Knowledge of detailed road drainage design and multi-disciplinary interfaces
