Production Worker and Forklift Operator

$20.00/hr – $21.00/hr

Aerotek is hiring 2 production workers and forklift operators in Joliet, IL with production and forklift experience. Our clients provide weekly paychecks, career growth, and a great work culture.

Responsibilities:

• Working around pumps to transfer chemicals.
• Using Forklift equipment in an industrial setting.
• Hooking up hoses to tanks to transfer liquid chemicals to totes/drums.
• Transport totes of chemicals manually(about 35 pounds) or by sit-down forklift.
• Verifying product in either on truck or taken off of truck through written documents.
• Label drums and totes.
• Could drive a Spotter truck to move containers around the property.
• Responsible for cleaning and maintaining the work area.

Work Environment:

• It is a chemical storage, handling and distribution logistics company which have heavy duty, industrial environment.

Pay and Shift:

• $20/hr-21/hr – 1st shift

Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum of 6 months Production and Forklift experience.
• Candidates must feel comfortable working near hazardous chemicals.
• Candidates should be comfortable with heavy lifting.
