The operations team is seeking a Vice President (VP) of Operations to take charge of the company’s growing operations, in footprint and complexity, as well as the company’s initiative to further empower its hybrid workforce (in-office, remote, contractors, and more). The VP of Operations leads US operations to support the CEO in coordinating all other functional teams within the company to meet organizational goals set by the CEO.
As the VP of Operations, you will lead a team of administrative, business, and finance professionals to ensure that the company’s day-to-day operations are effective and efficient while also maintaining “big picture” alignment according to the CEO’s vision.
The most successful candidate has at least 10 years of professional, hands-on experience performing across multiple departments within a technology company. The ideal candidate is tactically minded and laser focused on supporting the CEO achieve his bold goals; therefore, the company’s mission to globalize its autonomous transport services. The VP of Operations must be capable of wearing multiple hats as its responsibilities include hiring people, negotiating contracts, addressing budget matters, understanding general business operations and guiding work and teams to complete projects.
Operations at Aevum involves exposure to highly sensitive, confidential, and/or classified information requiring confidentiality, tact, and discretion. Trustworthiness and demonstrated ability to handle confidential information is necessary. Aevum is a prime contractor for multiple US Department of Defense (DoD) contracts. The successful VP of Operations is passionate about Aevum’s mission and willing to put in the effort and hours necessary to commit progress to humankind’s greatest advancements.

The salary range for this position is $110,000 to $150,000/year commensurate to experience and cultural fit.

To conform to U.S. Government space technology export regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) you must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
