Job Description

The MH/SU Clinical Coordinator is responsible for the management of the clinical functions of the mental health and substance use programs. This includes ensuring compliance with federal, state, local, and LME regulatory requirements. Provides supervision and performance review to clinical staff, and coordinates and evaluates all program services. The position will assist the Chief Behavioral Health Officer in areas of problems solving, and conflict resolution.Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.1. Supervises all clinical staff activities, which includes monitoring groups, individual therapy, and charting to maintain the highest standards of quality and effectiveness.2. Acts as the clinical supervisor for counselors. This entails facilitating weekly/biweekly individual and group supervision with each counselor, writing up notes, and assisting counselors in researching and tailoring effective treatments for clients.3. Works with the Billing Manager to address billing needs.4. Participates in the recruitment and interview process for clinical staff.5. Completes performance appraisals for clinical staff on an annual basis and works with Human Resources on employee performance management throughout the year.6. Provides for staff development and trainings and monitors the compliance of staff credentialing.7. Networks with other organizations to increase the referral base.8. Functions as Leader of multi-disciplinary Clinical Treatment Team.9. Performs other duties as assigned.Position Qualifications Master’s Degree in a Behavioral Health Related field. LCMHC/LCAS or LCSW/LCAS or state approved equivalent license and experience combination. 5 years Mental Health and/or Substance Abuse Treatment work experience.Job Type: Full-timeBenefits:

Experience:

• Addiction counseling: 3 years (Preferred)
