As the HR Assistant, you’ll follow:
Recruit, post openings, screen resumes, and schedule interviews in coordination with the director. Two years of experience with recruiting, sourcing, onboarding, and benefits preferred.
Send offer or decline letters to applicants and set up orientation dates for new hires.
Manage the background checks, back screen appointments, and pre-employment drug screens for the properties and communicate results to Directors/Hiring Managers.
Send DHHS child and adult abuse registry forms to the screening company.
Explain new employee paperwork, handbook, policies, and procedures, and get required signatures for all new employee forms including job descriptions.
Oversee benefits enrollment process for employees including meeting deadlines, gathering paperwork, ensuring online enrollments are being completed & sending/filing all appropriate insurance forms
Provide new employees with a name tag, welcome gift, and uniform shirt(s).
Arrange new employees’ Relias learning modules, and logins and oversee completion of required online training including setting up Virtual Dementia training.
Create and maintain all new hire personnel files.
Submit worker’s compensation reports and forms to HR.
Receive and organize invoices, get approval, and scan approved invoices to corporate.
Maintain move-in and move-out dates and manage all deposits.
Experience working in an office handling customer service, filing, reporting to multiple contacts, and prioritizing tasks with an aptitude of MS O365 required.
Strong English communication skills are essential for seamless interaction with residents and colleagues.
