Essential Functions
This position’s essential functions include but are not limited to:
Assists department in carrying out various human resources events.
Performs data entry process of hiring new employees into HRIS, including but not limited to:
Personal information, profile setting, department and manager assignments, picture import, verifying Federal I-9, Photo Release Policy and Cintas Enrollments.
Performs process of terminating an employee on the administration side.
Completing termination forms, entering termination notes in HRIS, canceling Cintas and pulling personnel files.
Completing weekly payroll checklist
Running hours reports
Completing Status Report
Employee Count & Hours Report
Sending terminations and payroll adjustments to payroll administrator
Point of contact for Cintas
Contact for Cintas Rep and employees. Keeping record of employees enrolled in the program. Enrolling and canceling employees in the program. Submitting bill for payment after reconciling uniform portion of the bill. Enter deductions in HRIS.
Responsible for drafting communications for the company when needed.
Greeting visitor and employees as they come into Human Resources department.
Answering the Human Resources Support line and fielding them accordingly, addressing questions and employee needs.
Directing employees and visitors to the appropriate Human Resources staff member.
Maintains security by following company procedures of maintaining visitor sign in and issuing visitor badges.
Prepares new hire personnel folders
Employee Identification
Make all company badges for AF-Holding Co., Agri-Fab, Inc. and American Select Tubing.
Maintains badge machine
Order badge cards and ribbon when low
Ensuring badge specs are accurate
Manage employee certifications to be on badges
Updates all Federal and State required postings.
Supports Recruiting efforts, including but not limited to
Phone Screens
Background Checks
Drug Screens
Maintains employee records and supports end of year record retention.
Provides Employment Verifications over the phone
Makes photocopies, faxes documents, files and scans documents, shreds documents, and performs other clerical functions.
Point of contact for all employees in regards to concerns with vending.
Attends required meetings
Logo Wear
Selection of items
Creation of order form and distributing it to all company employees
Submitting logo wear order
Distributing items ordered to employees
Weekly check sorting
Take Inventory of office supplies and place orders as needed.
Prepare, send and distribute office mail.
Coordinator for all company retirements
Ordering Retirement Jacket with personalization
Ordering and pick up cake and/or appropriate desserts.
Coordinating date, time, location, attendees and announcements
Take pictures
Christmas Holiday Letter
Drafting letter, ordering paper and printing. Including organizing and distributing to the whole company.
Coordinates all Employee Appreciation Events for the Sullivan location.
Maintains confidentiality in compliance with all Federal and State regulations and Company policy.
Assist with AFLAC and 401k meetings
Demonstrates a ‘service orientation’; actively seeks new ways to assist others.
Maintains self-control, keeps emotions in check, even in very difficult situations.
Demonstrates openness to change and variety in the workplace; is adaptable and flexible.
Interacts in a positive and cooperative manner in all dealings with individuals inside or outside the company.

Education/Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or minimum 3 years experience in Human Resources field
