AI Engineers’ Middletown, CT office is seeking an enthusiastic, highly-organized Human Resources Coordinator to support a small, busy HR group.
The ideal candidate should possess a “can-do” attitude, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and an ability to work independently, as well as with a team, in a dynamic, fast paced, and innovative consulting firm. Attention to detail and capability to handle confidential information is crucial to this role.
This position includes opportunities for personal and professional development and growth.
Primary Responsibilities:
- New employee onboarding, including conducting orientation
- Prepare and maintain personnel files, including leading the transition to a paperless filing system
- Support full-cycle recruiting
- Employee benefit enrollment
- Support employee immigration paperwork/process
- Support overall HR functions as needed
- Support front desk/reception as required
Qualifications:
- Minimum one year of experience in Human Resources
- Experience in the A/E/C industry preferred
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but additional years of experience in lieu of degree will be considered
- Experience dealing with employee issues related to benefits and company policies and procedures
- Familiarity with State and Federal laws related to benefits and employment regulations
- Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
