Director of Manufacturing (CMC Biologics) (Job in Sarasota, FL)

Oversee manufacturing plant’s activities including monitoring, processing, maintenance of facilities and equipment, documentation and production activities ensuring compliance with all regulatory organizations; work with Microbial Fermentation 1-1000L (Sartorius; Applikon and Eppendorf) in Batch and Fed Batch Mode, Akta System (Explorer; Avant; Pilot and Process) and Unicorn systems using chromatography steps such as SEC; Affinity; HIC; IEX; and have knowledge of Technology Transfer: Process and Analytical, Protocol preparation and Execution, Scaling Up and Scaling Down BoD, PFD and Mass Balance Preparation.

Requires: Bachelor’s in Biological Sciences or related degree and 5 years of experience in the job duties or 5 years of experience in positions working with Microbial Fermentation 1-1000L (Sartorius; Applikon and Eppendorf) in Batch and Fed Batch Mode, Akta System (Explorer; Avant; Pilot and Process) and Unicorn systems using chromatography steps such as SEC; Affinity; HIC; IEX; and Scaling Up and Scaling Down BoD, PFD and Mass Balance Preparation.
